With the Federal election approaching, the community have voiced their eagerness to know who is against the proposed offshore wind project off the Illawarra-Sydney coastline.

We have been engaging with several candidates across the Illawarra-Sydney electorates to ensure they understand our position, why we are concerned and why they should make this a key feature of their campaign.

Please Note: Labor, The Greens, The Teals and the Animal Justice Party have voiced their support of offshore wind projects around Australia.

The following candidates opposing offshore wind projects, have announced their intention to run in the upcoming Federal election.

We encourage you to attend any sessions candidates may be hosting to learn more about their positions and to ask questions on issues that matter to you.

Feel free to reach out individually to better understand their position on offshore wind.

Do your own research on these (and other) candidates to ensure you’re making an informed vote.

Please be aware of the preferences of each candidate, as this can have a significant impact on the outcome of the election .
